Academic Clash of Minds: MEEPLECON's Inter-School & College Board Game Extravaganza

This event is being organized by IIT-IIM alumni as part of MEEPLECON - India’s first and only convention dedicated to board games focused on learning and fun!

Schools and Colleges will send their contingent to participate in the Inter School and College Boardgames Tournament.

The tournament will be conducted on 18th and 19th February, 2023.
The venue is Dublin Square, Phoenix Marketcity, Kurla, Mumbai
In the tournament, students from different schools and colleges will compete with each other in selected boardgames.
There are 5 categories depending on which standard the student is studying in.

Category 1 - Std 1 and 2 Sat, 18th Feb, 2023 at 11 am

Category 2 - Std 3 and 4 Sun, 19th Feb, 2023 at 10 am

Category 3 - Std 5, 6 and 7 Sun, 19th Feb, 2023 at 4 pm

Category 4 - Std 8, 9 and 10 Sat, 18th Feb, 2023 at 4 pm

Category 5 - Std 11, 12 and UG Sun, 19th Feb, 2023 at 1 pm

Participants have to reach the venue 30 minutes before the start of the tournament.

A school/college can send 30 students in each category. In case a school/college wants to send more students, please email info@meeplecon.in
In each category, there will be 3 winners. Winners will get merit certificates, medals, and exciting prizes.
All participants will receive participation certificates. These will be sent to the school/college.
In addition, based on the performance of its students, the top 3 schools will also be awarded.
There is NO CHARGE to register or participate in the tournament.
GAMES: The board games that the students will compete in will NOT be traditional games like Chess or Scrabble. The games will be selected by us and informed at the time of the tournament only. THE PARTICIPANTS DO NOT NEED ANY PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OR PRACTICE TO COMPETE IN THE TOURNAMENT. We will explain the rules of the games during the tournament.
School students do not have to wear school uniforms at the event. However, all school and college students have to carry their ID cards.
For students of Std 1-10, one guardian will be allowed free entry into the event. Any additional person will have to purchase the entry ticket costing Rs. 590/-

Please note: Apart from the tournament, there will be many other activities during the event which the attendees can participate in. There will be 150+ different board games for all age groups (5 yrs to 99 yrs!!!) that the attendees can try. In addition, there will be workshops (example - Sudoku workshop, miniature painting workshop) and other contests that attendees can participate in. The event will be over 2 days (18th Feb and 19th Feb) from 10 am to 7 pm each day.
